Hi Lena,
The Balanced Woman 40 Plus worked!! Within 2 days most (about 90%) of the odor was gone ! For the first time in many years I felt normal again. It is about a month now since I started taking it. In the last two weeks, occassionally the odor has come back though not quite as bad as before. But my other little problems that I never linked with this problem have gone away ! Arthrites like pain in the bones, little painful bumps on the head that came and went (mostly at the back of the head), dry itchy skin on the legs are all gone ! Do you recommend that I continue taking these capsules ? If yes, for how long ?

Hi Lena.
 
I have been receiving your newsletter for several years and always read it with great interest.  Today was of special interest to me because I have been having some of the vague ovarian cancer symptoms mentioned in your article.  I have been to several doctors and, of course, no one has given the symptoms the consideration I think they probably warrant.  They want to attribute it to gallbladder issues.  However, I have no stones, etc.
 
I am reading books on liver cleansing and endometriosis.  (In the past, my doctor thought I had endometriosis.  However, it has never been confirmed.)   I would be really interested in knowing what you recommend to help prevent the possibility of cancer.  My grandmother died of ovarian cancer so it is in my family history.  However, I am just 44 years old and don't have most of the risk factors in the article.  I already avoid dairy, meat, wheat, corn, fast food, chemical additives, etc.
 
By the way, do you know of a resource to find a good doctor who would treat the whole person and not just isolated symptoms?  I live in the Kansas City, Missouri area.  Right now, I have an HMO which I don't like.  There is a possibility we will be able to participate in a PPO soon.
 
When you suggest the vitamins, etc., can you please let me know which are the absolute most important?   Currently, I don't have money to spend much money per month at all on vitamins and supplements.

Thank you for those kind words Jenny. I am glad to know that you actually read and learn from the ezine. My goal is to help as many people as possible learn how to be healthy and prevent disease.

It must be scary knowing ovarian cancer runs in the family, but you are doing very good at trying to avoid it, diet is very important! Just because it is in your family does not mean you have to continue that pattern and I think if you continue what you are doing you will probably not be a victim of it. But there are a few other things Dr. Garland says will benefit you greatly and help assure a healthy uterus & ovaries as well as the overall body! You are at the age that you may be in perimenopause and changes will start to take place and hopefully the symptoms you are feeling is nothing more than that. But just in case, for at least three months, the following would be recommended;
1) Take Life Transfusion Ionic Liquid minerals (20 drops in juice morning and noon). This should be taken by every individual alive who is not eating organic fruits and vegetables, as our foods are so lacking in minerals and as every study is beginning to back up Dr. Linus Paulings' statement that "You can trace every sickness, disease and every ailment to a mineral deficiency!" This along with the Antioxidant Free-radical formula (3 capsules at each meal) and the two together can keep the free radicals from creating cancer cells. Also a uterine/ovarian building douching (see douche instructions at the end of this email), which can give you an edge on keeping a healthy and/or repairing any damage that may exist in the uterus and ovaries.
2) Take Balanced Woman 40+ formula (follow directions on bottle)to give your hormonal system the nutrients it needs to produce the proper amounts of hormones and keep your female system healthy. This along with the douching would also help take care of any (if you actually have it) endometriosis...
3) Ionic Silver Water to boost the immune system while killing any invading virus/bacteria, such as yeast, which is a number one problem in a lot of illnesses. Since you are concerned with some of the symptoms listed for uterine/ovarian cancer it would be a good idea to take 1 tablespoon of liquid silver twice a day for a couple of weeks, then 1 teaspoon twice a day for a couple of more weeks, to kill any invaders that might be lurking and also help boost your immune system to fight any invading cancer cells. At any time after that should you have a viral infection or bacterial infection come into your family or system take a couple of weeks of Ionic Silver Water. 4) Make sure you get sufficient exercise at least 5 days a week. Walking (45 minutes a day) being the very best exercise, but Pilates or Yoga works...

Finding a traditional doctor that takes care of the whole body is so difficult and in some areas impossible... Medical schools do not work at turning out doctors to take care of the whole body. Everything is specialized and only after a doctor leaves medical school and gets into practice and then makes a decision to take care of the whole person, he/she will take years of study and practice to be able to do that... Your best bet is with a Family Practice physician and a lot of those are limited in their expertise. With an HMO you may not find that person and it will be difficult with a PPO as well but a little easier. I left the dependence of the insurance world years ago in order to have the options of doing what I want and seeing who I want, but not everyone is able to do that... Build up your own insurance fund (put aside one office visit payment in a savings account) on a monthly basis and when you need it you will have it... You very probably will need to see many doctors before you can find one who is capable of treating the whole body and HMO/PPO's will not allow you to do that... It is far less expensive, once you find that special doctor, than dependence on the insurance world of doctors... [DOUCHE INSTRUCTIONS]
Fill a bath tub with hot, purified or filtered water. Add a half cup of tea tree oil and a half cup of eucalyptus oil (Only a dozen drops if Pure Essential Eucalyptus Oil is used) and a quarter cup of the LIFE TRANSFUSION LIQUID MINERALS. Fill a douche bag and douche one bag and bathe in the rest, do this three times a week the first two weeks then once weekly thereafter. You can skip a month here and there after you have been faithful douching and bathing for three months. (You will probably also be very happy with the texture of your skin after each bathe)

A ROADMAP FOR LIFE'S JOURNEY

Gloria Pitzer quips, "In parts of the world, people still pray in the streets. In this country they're called pedestrians."

The late theologian and educator Henri J. Nouwen said about prayer, "As we are involved in unceasing thinking, so we are called to unceasing prayer."

For some people, prayer is like a spare tire. They keep it in the trunk of their automobile and don't think about it most of the time. But it's there if they need it. When they have a flat tire they open the trunk and rely on the spare to get them through the emergency. Like the soldier in a foxhole: bombs were bursting all around and he prayed, "Lord, I haven't bothered you in twenty years. Get me out of this alive and I promise not to bother you for another twenty!" Prayer is far from unceasing for him; it is more like a spare tire.

For other people, prayer is a road map. Not discreetly tucked away in small compartment and rarely used. Instead, it is spread out on the car seat next to the driver and consulted regularly. They understand that the road map is essential if they are to head the right direction and stay on the correct path. It is there to guide their lives and must be used at all times.

People of many faiths practice prayer or meditation along life's journey. Let it become a frequently used road map rather than a sparetire and you'll find you end up where you need to be.

The Root So Many Hate!
 
My husband brought in these beautiful roots from the garden last week, which we love fresh sliced and eaten raw or the greens cooked with a dash of rice vinegar added with the root sliced and cooked crunchy tender. This particular root is not a very popular root and most kids will turn up their noses at them just from the smell but are packed with nutrients. That root being Turnips!
 
Although turnips are usually a spring or fall crop we seem to continue to have a large number growing in our garden that are just as tasty as ever.
 
Turnips and rutabagas are among the most commonly grown and widely adapted root crops. They are members of the Cruciferae or mustard family and belong to the genus Brassica. Turnips are (Brassica rapa) and rutabagas are (Brassica napobrassica). The two are similar in plant size and general confused as to which is which. You can tell the differences as turnip roots generally have little or no neck and a distinct taproot, while rutabaga roots are often more elongated and have a thick, leafy neck and roots originating from the underside of the edible root as well as from the taproot.
 
Good-quality turnips will be very firm, smooth-skinned and heavy for their size. The coloring will be light-purple on the top fading to bright-white at the bottom. Avoid turnips that are soft, spongy, blemished with brown spots, cut or lightweight for its size.
 
The healthy nutrients gained when eating turnips;
 
Heavy in fiber content, which is needed to keep the intestinal tract working properly and healthy flora thriving. Good healthy nutrients include the minerals; Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, Copper, Manganese and Selenium. Vitamins are; Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Niacin, Pantothenic acid, B-6, Folate, Folic acid, B-12, Vitamin A, Retinol and Vitamin E. 
 
Turnip green tops are loaded with nutrients but not usually taken from full grown roots as they will be tough and require a much longer cooking time and a lot of flavoring to mask the bitter taste. Greens are usually picked for eating before the roots develop into full grown bulbs. Turnip greens are really too tough and strong to eat raw and will need to be cooked.
 
Fooling Turnip Haters Recipe
 
2 pounds fresh turnip roots
1 fresh apple (optional)
2 or 3 tablespoons margarine
1 tablespoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

 
First peel the turnips with a vegetable peeler.  Peel the apple too if you like, but it isn't necessary, unless he skin is really ugly.  Chop or slice the turnips, (and the apple) into the chunks the right size for eating.  Fill a big pot half full of water.  Add the turnips, apple (if you're using it), the margarine, sugar and salt and pepper as you like.  Cover the pot and simmer on the back of the stove for about 20 minutes, or until the turnip chunks are tender to your preference.  Serve hot.  They will never know they are eating turnips.
 
Root vegetables are usually very nutritious and health builders, so go out and eat them knowing you are getting healthier for it, unless you have had a kidney transplant, then they are off limits.
