How real is that food you eat? That question will be answered in this article in doing so we will need to take a look at what exist in foods now that wasn’t there a generation ago!  Also see what was there and now is gone!

Will help you answer the questions; What is causing 1 out of 3 children to be diagnosed with food allergies? Is your food real food or something else?

Lets start with additives in prepackaged processed foods possibilities! this link will name the most common additives along with what happens when consumed.

Then in the mid-1990's, along with the food additives new food proteins were engineered and introduced into our food supply, yet many people are still, to this day, clueless about this.

One of the first foods to undergo this change was milk, which incidentally is also the number one food allergen in the US.

In 1994, the dairy industry started using a genetically engineered growth hormone (GMO), rBGH (recombinant bovine growth hormone) on cows in order to increase milk production. However, it resulted in higher rates of disease in the treated livestock. To counteract the ill effects, dairies also had to start using more antibiotics, which we now know is one of the driving factors behind the rise in antibiotic-resistant superbugs in humans and animals.

While Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and 27 countries in Europe refused to use rBGH due to the fact that it had not been proven safe, the United States took the opposite stance, and basically decided that since it hadn't been proven dangerous, it would be allowed... If the FDA doesn't require studies on humans that attitude can last for who-knows-how-long? What will happen to people who consume this milk in the interim?

As inconceivable as it may seem, prior to rBGH being introduced into the milk - and every other conceivable dairy product - that millions of Americans consume every day, it had only been tested on 30 rats for 90 days!

"rBGH milk is "qualitatively and quantitatively different from natural milk," and is "supercharged with high levels of a natural growth factor (IGF-1), excess levels of which have been incriminated as major causes of breast, colon, and prostate cancers." According one independent Researcher and doctor, Samuel Epstein, MD who has written eight books, including two books on this particular topic “What's in Your Milk?”, and “Got (Genetically Engineered) Milk?

Then there is Bt Toxin in GMO corn and soy, that has made foods containing corn or soy dangerous to eat! EXAMPLE: Wesson Oil– made by Conagra – is labeled 100% natural. The truth is that all four Wesson oils, Canola oil, Corn oil, Vegetable oil and Special Blend stating 100% natural is made from genetically modified plants. How real is that?

The latest study revealed that GMO’s are in the blood of;

•Maternal blood samples found 93 percent contained GMO Bt Toxin

•Fetal blood samples found that 80 percent contained GMO Bt Toxin

•Non-pregnant women they found that of their blood samples contained 69 percent contained GMO Bt Toxin

Another 2010 review of 19 animal studies on genetically modified organisms (GMO) revealed that nearly 10 percent of blood, urine, organ and other parameters tested were significantly influenced by GMOs, with the liver and kidneys faring the worst.

Some scientists are now saying that GMO foods are going to create a food Crisis!

65 serious health risks from GM products of all kinds. Among them are:

•Offspring of rats fed GM soy showed a five-fold increase in mortality, lower birth weights, and the inability to reproduce

•Male mice fed GM soy had damaged young sperm cells

•The embryo offspring of GM soy-fed mice had altered DNA functioning

•Several US farmers reported sterility or fertility problems among pigs and cows fed on GM corn varieties

How to detect a food issue from our bad food supply?

· Do you experience bloating after meals, gas, frequent belching, or any kind of digestive problems?

· Do you have chronic constipation or diarrhea?

· Do you have a stuffy nose after meals?

· Do you have low energy or feel drowsy after eating?

· Do you have frequent headaches or migraines?

· Does anyone in your family have food allergies?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, you may want to investigate further to find out what additives or GMO’s you are consuming!

Begin by symptoms shortly – from 30 minutes to 2 hours - after eating a specific food, then that's a good place to start. Keep in mind that you can also be sensitive to food additives like artificial colors, preservatives and flavor enhancers (MSG), so reading labels is required if you're having food reaction symptoms (most often diagnosed as food allergy). One of the best ways, if you believe you are suffering from a food allergy, is to do a diet elimination challenge. Simply remove all foods that contain what you believe you are having issue with and see if your symptoms improve over the next few days. You may need to go as long as five days to give it a full analysis.

This can be difficult if you eat a lot of processed foods, as these often contain "hidden" ingredients like corn, milk, soy, wheat, yeast and additives. The most suspect foods will be those eaten daily or more than once a week, as well as foods that you crave or eat at night. In extreme cases where it is difficult to isolate the offending food, you may even need to go on a fast to see if your symptoms resolve then start with eating one food at a time and watch for symptoms!

If you don't already have a copy of the Non-GMO Shopping Guide, print one out and refer to it often. It can help you identify and avoid foods with GMOs. Also remember to look for products (including organic products) that feature the Non-GMO Project Verified Seal to be sure that at-risk ingredients have been tested for GMO content.

Now to let you know what was in our foods a century ago that isn't there now! What was known in 1936 that was passed on to the world but when the pharmaceutical and chemical companies came on the scene has not been published since! Partial statement released in 1936;

 “Laboratory tests prove that the fruits, the vegetables, the grains, the eggs and even the milk and meats of today are not what they were a few generations ago. No man of today can eat enough fruits and vegetables to supply his system with the mineral salts he requires for perfect health...”

“No longer does a balanced and fully nourishing diet consist merely of so many calories or certain vitamins or a fixed proportion of starches, proteins, and carbohydrates. We now know that it must contain, in addition, something like a score of trace mineral salts”.

“It is bad news to learn from our leading authorities that 99 percent of the American people are deficient in these minerals, and that a marked deficiency in any one of the more important minerals actually results in DISEASE. Any upset of the balance, any considerable lack of one or another element, however microscopic the body requirement may be, and we sicken, suffer, shorten our lives”

Dr. Northern stated; "minerals are vital to human metabolism and health-and that no plant or animal can appropriate to itself any mineral which is not present in the soil upon which it feeds.”

“We know that vitamins are complex chemical substances which are indispensable to nutrition, and that each of them is important for the normal function of some special structure of the body. Disorder and disease result from any vitamin deficiency. It is not commonly realized, however, that vitamins control the body’s appropriation of minerals, and that in the absence of minerals they have no function to perform. Lacking vitamins, the system can make some use of minerals, but lacking minerals, vitamins are useless”. He also stated: "In the future we will be a nation of fat bellies."

If it was that bad in 1936, just think much worse it is today? Do you wonder why you are always hungry or overweight take this into consideration!
