April 4, 2005 "Today's
questions regard joints and bones and remedies for
problems with them. Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSN
and whether they will help those problems"
March 21, 2005 "My wife is 49
years old had a complete hysterectomy 16 years
ago..... She has had multiple other problems -
depression, imsomnia, anxiety, CFS, Fibromyalgia (at
one point being almost comatose), etc. She has
overcome a lot after I got her on the Maker's Diet.
Will Balanced Woman help & replace her HRT since she
has had a complete hysterectomy?

"I have a fatty liver,
obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol. Can you help me out at all? What
do you recommend?"
March 7, 2005 Three questions
regarding RP, gingivitis and sinusitis!
February 28, 2005 My friends
daughter (5 years old now) was diagnosed with
Bladder Dysfunction (I thought that was a general
term for any bladder problem! But it's not!) She
was told this will be a life long problem. Well, my
concern as well as the moms, is the medicine she
takes is Hytrin 2mg qhs. The side effects are
horrible though! Infertility being one. There has
just got to be something else out there for this
little girl! At the start of the school year, she
was punched in the face, teased by almost everyone
on her bus and class, and even friends she's had
won't play with her because she 'smells' when she
has her accidents. The Hytrin has helped - so for
now, what we see is a positive thing, but my
goodness, what is it doing to her inside? Any
suggestions?
February 21, 2005 I am a 40
year old male and my latest cholesterol reading was
276 and my doctor is trying to force me to take a
cholesterol lowering prescription, which I do not
wish to do. I filled his first prescription for
Lipitor but I read the insert at all the bad side
effects and in small print said; "Has not been
shown to prevent or protect from heart disease or
stroke." So I figured my chances of being
healthy were greater without it than with it? I also
read one of your articles that stated that 60 plus
people who die from heart attack, heart disease or
stroke have normal to low cholesterol readings,
which enforced my thoughts at not taking the drugs?
He is so pushy to take it and he told me that if he
had the authority he would beat me about the head
and shoulders until I softened my head up to
understand my risk of heart attack caused by the
cholesterol. I guess he's never read the insert that
goes with the drug? Does he have the right to make
such a nasty statement and should I cave in and take
the medication?

We went to the doctor this week
and Dolores went in with 3 medications and came out
with 6. She now has diabetes, high blood pressure
and high cholesterol along with a problem of
balance. The Dr. said she is a "mess". Dolores said
she could have told him that! She is still using a
walker due to her loss of balance. Now she is going
to Physical therapy also. Her thyroid functions are
all over the ball park even with taking the
Synthroid for all these years. I think she can beat
this stuff with proper diet and exercise, what do
you think?
February 7, 2005 A distressed
friend has just called to tell me he been diagnosed
with hemachromatosis. He is a twin brother to a
sister (46 yrs) who was diagnosed in November. At
her prompting he was tested so there does not seem
to have been prevailing symptoms leading to
diagnosis. What is the prognosis ? Treatment ?
Dietary action or alternative treatments ?
January 31, 2005 Q #1
I am currently dealing with a
condition that my doctor labeled as "acid reflux"
though I don't quite have all of the symptoms I feel
this is the best they can come up with!! Sometimes a
pain seems to locate itself in the right side of my
chest, sometimes the left, and sometimes it feels as
though it could be right between my esophagus and
diaphragm. Sometimes I feel pain between my
shoulder blades, though I have had some minor back
muscle problems in my life and this may or may not
be related. I could not connect the feeling with
any particular food intake; even water (particularly
cold) will evoke these symptoms. I walk on my
treadmill 30 min. 3 times a week and play a
vigorous game of racquetball once a week. I am not
one to "pop pills" and as a result I have been
researching various nutritional philosophies and
therapies and am curious what your suggestion would
be for alternatives to this problem?
Q #2 I am fifty years old, I have never been
sick other than the normal colds. I have recently
been feeling extremely tired. I have no energy. I
have not had a period for about 1 year now....I
desire to lose weight, and exercise...I just do not
have the get up and go. What can I do??
January 24, 2005 What can you
tell me about apricot seeds?
January 17, 2005 You
mentioned in an earlier newsletter about people
"buying in" to the Stan drugs.
My doctor swears by them, and I take Lipitor while
my 82 year old mother takes the generic version of
Zocor.
Your article seems to imply that there is a problem
with these drugs. Is that your opinion, or do you
know something that no one else, except the sellers
of Rescue, Is reporting? Are these going to be the
next Vioxx, or Celebrex scandal?
January 10, 2005 Q#1:My
supermarket is selling a delicious blueberry juice.
Does the juice offer the same benefits as the whole
berries? Q#2 :For the last few years I've been
getting what I call little red "moles". My doctor
told me the name of these. It starts with an "H".
He said," As we get older................", which is
the typical response to everything "new" that shows
up as we age. Why do people get these little red
"dots" which can slowly increase in size? Is there
a way to stop more from coming? Is it possible to
remove these by some natural means?
January 3, 2005 Q #1:
I am 9 months pregnant, and with trouble sleeping i
have found valarian root vitamins help to get to
sleep. Is this ok for my baby? I asked my doctor
and his response was to take Tylenol p.m., and
without any pain i would rather not.
Q#2:
We have a 6 month old baby boy who is taking
chemo-therapy and he is very immune suppressed.
What type of environmental equipment should he have
to keep virus and bacteria out of his room? |
