My friend with CFS has been infested for the past 2 years with some sort of unidentified skin parasite bug/mite. She has tried all manner of things to get rid of them and has done numerous herbal detoxification regimes for liver, kidney, bowel etc.
She cannot take drugs as she reacts badly. Has tried all sorts of lice products and essential oils and internal herbals like olive leaf extract and oregano to get rid of them with no improvement. She is on a very strict good healthy diet low in carbs which are supposed to feed them.

Answer to my questions put to Sandy; Are these under the skin or attached to the skin? Are they red, white, clear, brown or black? I need to know so I know how to answer your question...
 
They are brown, just visible to the naked eye, (have been photographed by a doctor and thought to be some sort of mite), and crawl over her skin and up her nose and vagina as well as her back passage. but seem to lay their eggs under the skin surface if this makes sense.
 
ANSWER;
 
So sorry about your friend... CFS is bad enough without suffering from any other malady... You don't say how long she has had these and if she has done a house cleaning... First she hopefully has gone through every piece of bedding, pillows, clothes, closets, carpets, drapes, etc. and wash/vacuumed/cleaned and disinfect every surface and piece of cloth and leather in the house... Will need to do this weekly until infestation subsides... If she has not done that she will most likely continue to be reinfested even if everything she has done had cleared them out...

To get rid of those little creatures;  By now she most likely had many colonies of eggs laid by those parasitic bugs that will continue to reinfest her body as they hatch... This isn't something she can do in one or two treatments and have them gone... Eggs hatch and keep the cycle going unless they are killed... One of the best parasite/fungal killers that I've found is ionic silver water... I believe that a 21 day Ionic Silver Water Protocol will work to rid her of the bugs and the eggs... She will start by initially taking 1/4 cup Ionic silver water internally and then pour/spray silver water on each skin area of her body as well as spray some up her nose... After the initial 1/4 cup, then go to 3 Tablespoons of silver water four times a day for a week. Then 1 Tablespoon three times a day for the next two weeks... As well as spray the nose and areas of skin affected daily... If she has them vaginally she can do a silver water douche every 5 days for the 21 days... (Douche; 1 Tablespoon silver water to a quart of warm water) By the end of 21 days the eggs and parasites should be dead and will not reinfest... She must do a complete house cleaning and disinfecting weekly... Spray each external area of the body three times a day with the silver water for the full three weeks... This kills ticks, fungus, parasites and bacteria... Will sterilize the eggs of those same bugs, usually within the first week, so they cannot hatch... If she needs to do that for a fourth week, by all means do so... Some parasites are harder to get rid of than others but I really think if she is diligent for the full three weeks it will work...

Stay away from sugars and sugar substitutes and make at least 80% of each meal raw vegetables... She will need to build her immune system up to its strongest working condition to combat both the parasites and the CFS...

FYI for her CFS; Even though you didn't ask about that; she needs liquid balanced minerals daily along with an Immune building formula of herbs to get her body functioning better... We have found some people with CFS have been rejuvenated by just taking the balanced minerals... Others have taken a bigger protocol to rebuild the immune system to combat CFS?

ADVICE THAT WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN

Groucho Marx quipped, "Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others." Though he is joking, I wonder if he is actually hitting close to home? Do you have a firm set of principles that guide your life?

Who teaches our young people about character and the importance of always doing what is right? Who teaches them how essential it is to always be honest and do what is right? In some countries, including America, the answer is: "Not the schools! Let them stick to academics," they say. "The church and the home can teach morality."

Even many ETHICS courses do not touch on PERSONAL ethics. They may discuss the medical ethics of cloning, stem cell research and genetic engineering. They may consider euthanasia, abortion and capital punishment. And they may even look at the ethics of governments and multi-national corporations. But how many teach about personal ethics: honesty, honor, integrity, trust, and the like? Or do they expect students to learn about what is right and wrong elsewhere?

Educator Christine Hoff-Sommers tells that an American university instructor dropped an armful of final exams on her desk in disgust as she complained that over 50% of her students CHEATED on their social justice exam. They'd spent a semester learning about ethical issues most societies face, but they never discussed personal morality. They could talk about the good and bad behaviors of corporations, governments and societies, but not about their own lives. They just didn't get it: cheating is wrong! And can we expect societies to be any better than the people who live in them?

Church leader John Wesley simplifies it for us. In regards to personal ethics, he says this:

    "Do all the good you can,
    By all the means you can,
    In all the ways you can,
    In all the places you can,
    At all the times you can,
    To all the people you can,
    As long as ever you can."

That is advice that should never let you down.

The Little Green Head Becomes a Shoot You Can Eat And Lose Weight!

A fantastic food that has almost no calories if you leave off the butter!
 
These little green heads are popping through the ground here in our high country. We are a bit later than other areas, but it says colder longer so they sleep a bit longer… Those little green heads have promises of health and weight maintenance more than most vegetables…  Here is what I found on investigation!

Green heads are the beginning of spring Asparagus: A great source of vitamin E, asparagus (asparagi?) are also loaded with known phytochemicals to help fight cancer (glutathione, for example) and as a natural diuretic, will help get rid of that excess water weight.
 
The asparagus we eat are actually shoots from the earth-covered root of the asparagus plant. The shoots are cut after 3 to 7 days of growth.
 
Asparagus exceeds other vegetables as the leading supplier of Folic Acid. Providing folacin. Folacin is necessary for blood cell formation, growth, and prevention of liver disease. Clinical trials have demonstrated a significant link between Folic Acid intake and the prevention of neural tube defects that can cause paralysis and death in babies. - Low in Calories, less than 4 calories per average spear.
 
     - Very Low in Sodium
     - Vegetable Protein
     - A source of Fiber
     - Contains Vitamin A
     - Contains Potassium
     - Contains Vitamin E
     - A significant source of Vitamin B6
     - A significant source of Thiamine
     - One of the richest sources of Rutin, a strengthener of capillary walls

Glutathione (GSH) is one of the strongest Anti-Carcinogens and
Antioxidants found in the body.  Glutathione has a function to protect cells from oxidative damage and detoxify carcinogenic electrophiles, consequently preventing damage to DNA. Therefore Glutathione functions as a primary defence against chemicals that can cause cell transformation or cell death. Asparagus was found to have the highest Glutathione content of  several foods that were tested.
 
BUYING ASPARAGUS: Select asparagus with tightly bunched tips (pass if the tips are loose), and minimum of woody white stalk at the bottom. Wrinkled or pithing stalks indicate age and dehydration and the taste may not be as good. When asparagus is fresh, there is no difference in taste or texture between thin and fat stalks (no matter what you've heard!).
 
Cooking Asparagus: Since most of asparagus nutrients are in the tip, its best to cook it upright in a tall container. Tie the asparagus in a bunch after cleaning, place in standing position in 1-2 inches of boiling water. Cook just until stalks soften.
 
If you don't have a pan tall enough, try this: make a very light butter sauce – I find that half butter and half virgin olive oil makes a healthy, less fattening and tasty sauce - in a wide, flat cool pan. Add a touch of water and heat on top of the stove. Lay the washed wet asparagus in, cover and steam or simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. I have a steamer that I lay the cleaned asparagus in and steam, without butter or water, for about 5 minutes for crunchy goodness. Sprinkle with seasoned rice vinegar or lemon for a real treat!
