QUESTION:
 
I am 49 years old and had a complete hysterectomy 15 years ago as treatment for endometriosis. My doctor had me using custom formulated hormones for the last 6 years before surgery. (Both creams & capsules). I am using Premarin or Estratest since and this has kept me from having hot flashes, but has not helped in any other symptoms such as libido, dry vagina, etc., making my husband nervous and he deserves better.  Other problems include - depression, insomnia, anxiety, CFS, Fibromyalgia, at one point being almost comatose from the pain.  Will Balanced Woman help to replace HRT after having had a complete hysterectomy and help curb these problems?

Thanks for the questions Vicky. At 49 you are just getting to the best part of living and you and your husband deserve a nice time while there.

I'm assuming by a "complete hysterectomy" you mean cervix, ovaries, tubes and uterus. Correct me if I'm wrong... That seems like overkill to me...

Sometimes in having a hysterectomy there is damage during the surgical procedure that cannot always be corrected and the more they remove the more likely that is to happen. I'm hoping you are not one of those? Happily women have a multitude of hormone producing glands other than the ovaries therefore making it possible that hormone production, when given the right production prodding, can be sufficient for most women.
