QUESTION:
My age is 31
Male
Weight, 135lb at 5'6 It all started when I was
running one day and I felt a pop near my heart, I
believe it was due to my diet at that time , even though
I have changed I believe there has been some kind of
damage to or around my heart. When I eat the wrong thing
it gives me pain something like heart burn and sometimes
I feel a tingling pain in my left arm. If I sleep on my
left side that also causes that pain in my heart I also
have a lack of energy sense then. It has been 2-3 years
sense this incident took place I don't want to use any
medication, or surgery if it is not necessary. I believe
that God can use nature to heal my condition. I try to
eat mostly raw or organic foods. I feel better when I
take fish oil, garlic, and cyane pepper, I do desire to
have my health back .
ANSWER:
It is highly unlike
the pop you heard was from your heart...
You do not mention
seeing a doctor? Why is that since you are obviously
upset about it? With your symptoms it sounds
suspiciously like a stomach valve problem... Of course
without tests to confirm that I cannot be 100% sure...
All the pain you are experiencing can be caused by the
stomach valve aka hiatus hernia that has
popped through, hence the sound you heard. The valve is
most likely weak and allows part of your stomach to come
up, making for a lot of discomfort at times. You should
see a gastroenterologist to determine that... There
isn't much you can do to eliminate the problem now that
it has occurred other than be sure to eat sensibly,
which sounds like you are doing. No fatty foods, no
lunch meats or processed foods, light on the spicy
foods. Take digestive enzymes with each meal... A
gastroenterologist might recommend surgery but it is
very risky and the failure rate is so huge that unless
it's a life threatening problem (severe loss of
weight, inability to hold food down when you eat, and/or
excruciating unbearable pain) I wouldn't even
consider it myself... Be sure you are getting balanced
minerals and
MegaNutrient vitamins as well as
Probiotics (this one includes digestive enzymes) to
help keep any chance of infection down as that will also
help eliminate some of the pain but not all of it... I
suspect the fish oil and garlic, you are taking, is the
soother for the problem and the reason you are feeling
better with it... Cayenne is not likely to help unless
you are taking it in large quantities for the pain...
Turmeric would be your best choice... We recommend
High Potency Curcuminoid (Turmeric 95%) formula If
you click that link and do a search under Curcuminoid
you will find several but our choice is the
Vitamin Life brand... We are not affiliated with
them…
Occasionally, I have
known a good Chiropractor to be able to manipulate the
stomach back into place, but it will most likely not
stay once the valve is so weak… You will still need to
do the things above to help keep it calmed…
Let me know how you
do.

NO REGRETS
Not
many people have heard of Bill Havens. But Bill
became an unlikely hero of sorts - at least
among those who knew him best. Here is his
story:
At the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris, the sport of
canoe racing was added to the list of
international competitions. The favorite team in
the four-man canoe race was the United States
team. One member of that team was a young man by
the name of Bill Havens.
As the time for the Olympics neared, it became
clear that Bill's wife would give birth to their
first child about the time that the US team
would be competing in the Paris games. In 1924
there were no jet airliners from Paris to the
United States, only slow ocean-going ships. And
so Bill found himself in a dilemma. Should he go
to Paris and risk not being at his wife's side
when their baby was born? Or should he withdraw
from the team and remain with his family?
Bill's wife insisted that he go to Paris. After
all, competing in the Olympics was the
culmination of a life-long dream. But Bill felt
conflicted and, after much soul-searching,
decided to withdraw from the competition and
remain home where he could support his wife when
the child arrived. He considered being at her
side his highest priority - even higher than
going to Paris to fulfill his dream.
As it turned out, the United States four-man
canoe team won the gold medal in Paris. And
Bill's wife was late in giving birth to their
child. She was so late, in fact, that Bill could
have competed in the event and returned home in
time to be with her when she gave birth.
People said, "What a shame." But Bill said he
had no regrets. For the rest of his life, he
believed he had made the better decision. Bill
Havens knew what was most important to him. Not
everybody figures that out. And he acted on what
he believed was best. Not everybody has the
strength of character to say no to something he
or she truly wants in order to say yes to
something that truly matters. But for Bill, it
was the only way to peace; the only way to no
regrets. There is an interesting sequel to the
story of Bill Havens.?
The child eventually born to Bill and his wife
was a boy, whom they named Frank. Twenty-eight
years later, in 1952, Bill received a cablegram
from Frank. It was sent from Helsinki, Finland,
where the 1952 Olympics were being held. The
cablegram read: "Dad, I won. I'm bringing home
the gold medal you lost while waiting for me to
be born."
Frank Havens had just won the gold medal for the
United States in the canoe-racing event, a medal
his father had dreamed of winning but never did.
Like I said - no regrets.
Thomas Kinkade eloquently said, "When we learn
to say a deep, passionate yes to the things that
really matter... then peace begins to settle
onto our lives like golden sunlight sifting to a
forest floor."

FOOD OF THE WEEK
=================
Phaseolus vulgaris,
As my husband prepares his garden for planting there this staple will
always be part of the planting season food. Beans of several species but
I think my favorite is this weeks special food!
All of the bean species is healthy and great food that should be eaten
at least twice a week for greater health. My favorite Black beans,
botanically-known as Phaseolus vulgaris, are native to the
Americas. One of over 500 varieties of kidney beans, black beans are
also known as turtle beans, caviar criollo,
black Spanish beans, Tampico beans, Venezuelan
beans and frijoles negros. These beans date back at least
7,000 years when they were a staple food in the diets of Central and
South Americans.

Black beans are about the size of a pea, up to 1/2-inch long, with the
slightly less-pronounced boat-shape common to kidney beans.
This may be why they are my favorite; The darker the bean the more the
antioxidant content. Out of all the bean family black beans win with the
most nutrients.
Black beans are an amazing food! One-half cup of cooked black beans has
as many antioxidants as two glasses of red wine. Not only that but they
are packed with fiber and folate, which are touted to be great at
reducing the risk of heart disease. Black beans, as all dried legumes,
are also good sources of starches, fiber, B vitamins, iron, zinc,
phosphorus, complex carbohydrates and calcium. Although about half of
the calcium is lost during cooking a high percentages of the other
nutrients remain however, even after cooking.
All legumes are high in protein, and black beans are no exception. Dried
beans are important sources of protein in vegetarian diets, and in areas
where animal protein is scarce or expensive. However, this protein is
incomplete (does not contain all 9 amino acids, so grains (which
provide the missing amino acids) must also be a significant part of the
strictly vegetarian diet. In the areas where common beans originated
(Central America and southern Mexico) corn and squash supplied the
missing amino acids and additional source of vitamins. When rice and
beans are mixed at a meal a complete protein can be had?
Before cooking, be sure to pick through them, picking out any small
pebbles, split and withered beans and any other foreign matter. (Beans
from the Rockies and Pacific coast tend to have more adobe (bits of
clay) and stones). It is also helpful to cover the beans with cold
water, let sit for 5 minutes and remove anything that floats. Repeat to
be sure all dirt and foreign matter is removed. Drain and ready to cook
Fast food recipe. No it isn't initially a fast food but one that
can be made ahead refrigerated and stored for several days and eaten
without losing nutrients!
