you should not think of me as one.
Just lived many years while observing the life and
health of many in the world around me...
Q & A is for your information and education only and in
some instances to give you a different perspective on a
particular problem!
My wish for you, in the use of the information gained
here, is that you will apply it in a smart and safe
manner in order to enhance your life and not harm it!
Not to be used in place of your judgment but in
addition to... Even though I daily watch people become
healthy with the information imparted nothing works 100%
of the time for 100% of people...
I have always felt that I had to know all sides to a
problem and then make a decision for myself and I hope
that will be your attitude as well!

QUESTION:
I was reading one of your articles on emaxhealth.com and
it said if im looking for proven mixture of herbs, to
email you. So here i am. Im trying to find out what i
can do to build my childrens immune systems. They are 7
and 5 and have both allergies and asthma. Everytime they
get a cold, those conditions get much worse. So i was
hoping there was something i could do to prevent them
from getting such frequent colds and infections
Thank you
Leelah
ANSWER:
Thank you Leelah,
Yes, it seems that children's schoolmates exposes them
to all the viruses around and they need a really strong
immune system to keep from coming down with some or all
of them... Once it begins it seems that constant health
problems keep their immune systems depressed all the
time making it almost impossible to not catch
everything... They are too young to be able to swallow
Immune
building herbal capsules for those 12 years of age
and older, so it is a bit more work to get younger
children's immune system built up... Our oldest and
youngest grandsons are asthmatic and were getting all
the viruses from school until my daughter and
daughter-in-law started doing the following;
1. Kids Mins
Mineral/vitamin/probiotic chewable 3 daily -
required for a child's healthy immune system.
2. 1 teaspoon
Ionic
Silver Water daily (if they should come down with an
asthma attack, sore throat, sniffles or congestion then
increase to 1 teaspoon three times a day. For
sore throats have each gargle if they can or at least
hold it in their throats as long as possible) This is a
miraculous virus/bacteria/fungus killer and immune
system builder... The only antibiotic our family
takes...
3. 1500 mg Vitamin C daily this is proven to
prevent asthma attacks...
4. Respiratory
Support 1 three times a day with all the
above has practically made my oldest grandson's asthma
non existent... Until we started him on this - age 10 -
along with the kid mins, vitamin C and silver water he
was in the hospital with a life threatening asthma
attack monthly for 6 years... He has not had a
hospitalization since starting this regimen - 11 years
now - (For your little ones you will have to open the
capsules and sprinkle on their food until they are able
to take capsules)
5. As many fruits and vegetables as you can get down
them... No dairy products at all... Switch to Soy milk,
soy cheese and for a butter spread put Virgin Olive oil
into a butter container and refrigerate, it will take on
the consistency of soft margarine, then use like
butter... No butter substitutes or margarines as they
have chemicals and colors that exacerbate respiratory
problems and suppress the immune system... With kids you
may have to be resourceful and disguise fruits and
vegetables... With my grandchildren I make them a
breakfast smoothie with my blender (6 ounces
unsweetened pineapple juice, 3 cups mixed frozen
organic fruits - I get frozen organic fruit at Costco in
big bags and keep them in my freezer year round - 1
banana, 1 teaspoon flax seed oil, 30 drops
ionic liquid minerals and 1/4 cup Vanilla Silk soy
milk blended until smooth to a soft ice cream thickness.)
serve with a spoon... they think they are getting ice
cream and is one of the things they request as soon as
they get here... You can be creative and use any juice
as well as any mix of fruit, if you use apples it's good
to add 1/8 teaspoon powdered cinnamon.
If you want it to be applesauce thickness mix it in a
food processor until smooth... I make it for them during
the day as a snack as well... With vegetables you may
need to puree them and make a gravy or soup base for
them to eat them... Be creative...
It worked for both boys and I'm sure if you follow the
guidelines it will work for your two as well...
More suggestions toward a healthier family are:
- Use olive oil not vegetable oil or lard in cooking and
salad dressings...
- Stay away from processed foods and fast foods...
- Stay away from white flour products...
- Eat as much raw fruits and veggies as possible every
day...
- Use organic foods as much as possible to escape the
chemicals and hormones...
- Read labels and stay away from anything with Splenda
or aspartame... These two are real immune suppressors as
well as brain damaging chemicals...
If you haven't read "
Balance Your Way to Health" and "
The ABC's
Of Minerals" I suggest you do for your whole
family's benefit...
Regards,
Lena
PS: Here is a great waffle/pancake recipe,
without white flour, that I make and the kids love it...
This is a healthy white flour free food!
Oat Waffles
Makes six 4.5? X 6? waffles
3 cups old fashioned rolled oats, uncooked (put into
blender and whiz into almost flour consistency)
¾ teaspoon sea salt
3 cups cold water
1 ½ teaspoon pure vanilla
3 to 4 pitted dates or 1 Tablespoon honey
3 Tablespoons Soy milk or ¾ cup raw cashew nuts
Blend oats then add all other ingredients together,
blend until smooth. Pour onto heated waffle iron sprayed
or rubbed with olive oil. Bake waffles 10 to 11 minutes
each.
Batter will thicken as it stands but you can add water
to thin if needed or use thick?
For pancakes increase the soy milk to 1/3 cup or thin to
desired consistency? pour onto griddle until bubbles all
over then turn and brown other side?
Serve with fruit.. Our favorite is sliced peaches or
strawberries?
Fruity syrup style topping:
16 oz. fresh or frozen strawberries
6 oz. pineapple juice (small can)
3 rings pineapple slices, diced
1 spear dried papaya, diced
Place all into blender. Blend till smooth

EMBARRASSING
MOMENTS
You've had
one of those embarrassing moments. One of mine occurred
a few years ago.
I was driving through a seedy side of town one day and
spotted a young woman hitching a ride. (I honestly
believed she just wanted a ride!) So I stopped the car
to let her in.
It happened during rush hour heavy traffic. I pulled
over, but not out of the lane, for there was no shoulder
on the road. As I reached across to open the car door, I
noticed traffic backing up behind me. (It also seemed
that more than a few drivers were glaring at me.)
Once she was in and we started down the street I asked
her, "Where are you going?" She mumbled something I
didn't understand so I asked her again.
Instead of answering, she turned to me and asked, "Do
you want a date?
In my normal eloquent manner I responded, "Huh?"
"Do you want a date?" she asked again. "Do you want to
have some fun?"
I may not be the fastest horse in the race, but it was
finally getting through. "No," I feebly answered,
realizing now what I had stepped into. (Believe me - she
didn't LOOK like a prostitute!)
"Then you better let me out," she said. "I have work to
do."
We had only traveled about two blocks and I pulled over
again. The SAME CARS that were behind me before were
still there. Again, they all had to stop while she got
out of the car. Now I was SURE they were glaring.
As I drove off something unsettling occurred to me: I
slowly realized that I was undoubtedly the only person
on the street that day who didn't know what was going
on!
Mayor Filorello LaGuardia of New York City said, "I
don't make many mistakes, but when I do, it's a beaut."
I, on the other hand, make plenty of mistakes, and a
surprising number of them are beauts.
But I like actress Sophia Loren's approach: "Mistakes,"
she says, "are part of the dues one pays for a full
life." And the fuller the life, I suspect, the more dues
paid and the more risks taken.
I'll take the risks and make the mistakes if it means my
life will be fuller. After all, the greater mistake
would be to never to risk at all.
