Other than back pain the second most common complaint when seeing a doctor is loss of energy aka fatigue. Fatigue is considered a symptom, as opposed to a medical sign, because it is reported by the patient instead of being observed by others. Fatigue and ‘feelings of fatigue’ are often confused. The definition of Fatigue - also called exhaustion, languidness, languor, lassitude, and listlessness - is a state of awareness describing a range of afflictions, usually associated with physical and/or mental weakness, though varying from a general state of lethargy to a specific work-induced burning sensation within one's muscles. Physical and mental fatigue is the inability to continue functioning at the level of one's normal abilities. There isn’t one answer for every person but there is one link that connects each one that may not seem to be linked but is. A complaint of fatigue may be the first warning sign that something more serious is in store. Here are the most common links that are found with fatigue: Lack of proper rest and sunshine! These two go hand in hand and if you are not sleeping at least 6 to 7 hours a night your brain is in a foggy pattern leading to loss of energy and mental instability at times. Sunshine vitamin known as vitamin D; More than 200 million Americans lack this essential Vitamin D leading to loss of energy and many illnesses and diseases. The use of sun screens in lotions and potent used daily stops the absorption of this vitamin that is so necessary for total health. Vitamin D - specifically D3 - revitalizes your cells and when not receiving sufficient amounts your body starts to become weak as well as causing digestive problems. The above link gives you the daily RDA's necessary for that health. Digestive Problems! If you have only one bowel movement a day or one movement every other day or hard stools or occasional constipation or occasional diarrhea or watery stools or frequent colds or other viruses or bacterial infections you have a digestive problem as well as an immune system problem. It is a wonder 100% of the people aren’t more fatigued from that one issue as it is so prevalent. If the digestive tract isn’t functioning properly you aren’t absorbing nutrients your body is taking in. Taking all the vitamins in the world won’t work if this one area is not in good shape. On top of that additives in our foods create health risks as well as stomach and/or intestinal problems. Even if you could eat all the raw foods your body requires, they no longer contain as many healthy enzymes as they once did due to nutrient depleted soil, environmental and farming pollution and commercial preservation techniques, making proper digestion impossible. Farmers are unknowingly helping the drug industry sell their little purple pills… The body's intestinal organs become enlarged and pock marked with wall pockets that catch foods and hold them creating inflammation and ulcers, all creating a severe minerals deficiency and without them all of your organs are in danger. Medication lethargy: This is one of the most common reasons for loss of energy. Sadly prescribed drugs are consumed and creating even more severe malnourishment and illnesses than imagined but not being talked about by the medical profession... Medications of all types create a minerals imbalance that makes for a serious loss of energy and life giving force. You say but I’m not taking medication! Wrong, if you drink, cook or bathe in tap water you are getting medications without your consent and that is draining your energy among other things! Incorrect Diet: Are you eating real food? If you are one of millions you probably drive through some fast food place at least once a week and maybe more. Getting nutrient deficient foods that are full of fat. Or maybe you use Hamburger Helper a bit too much or Mac and Cheese from a box or other prepackaged processed foods that are full of additives and very little to no mineral or vitamin content. All creating a severe imbalance in the body making for loss of energy. What links all of the above together? Each leaves the body with a severe minerals imbalance and when that happens the body is very tired and will soon begin to break down with some form of illness or disease. This does not have to continue. I’ve listed the six mistakes to stay away from that will assure you have lots of energy and a healthy quality of life.
