Today's question has been asked dozens if not hundreds
of times over my years as an alternative health
consultant but when I went back into my archives I do
not find that I've ever published one of them. It is
time to publish one, especially since cancer and illness
is at an all time high!
Don't forget to pass on the newsletter announcement to

I am not a doctor or dentist and you should not think of
me as one!! My years observing life and health of the many
people/patients around me and the contradictions of the
traditional medical world's idea of treating -
prescription domino effect - while watching and also taught those same
schooled methods that aren't relieving illness but
creating far more health problems than they help is
where my answers are based. Those same conventional medical
professionals aren't telling people how to get healthy
or how to prevent illness. They can't as they haven't
been taught healing, only putting a bandage on symptoms, which led me to look for
something to change that premise for myself and those
around me who ask. In looking outside the Westernized medical
profession I found and continue to find alternatives
that really work to create health and longevity - when
adhered to - beyond anything the traditional medical
world can do...

QUESTION:
Good morning Lena what herbs or products do you
recommend to prevent cancer in general? Also what
products promote a healthy liver? Thank you, Cassandra
ANSWER:
Thank you for the questions Cassandra. No
simple answers to them, even though most people would
expect simple, but in our fast food society and polluted
world, with regular grocery shelf foods lacking healthy
nutrients and our waterways so polluted it is a very
difficult question and requires many steps. I would be
remise if I simply gave you a list of supplements to
take as that would not be the whole answer.
The following is for you only if you have no existing
health problems and are not taking medications!
The first and extremely important step in cancer
prevention is a balance of minerals
in the body to enable the organs to actually
utilize vitamins - whether from food or supplements -
when put into the body. Our body cannot make minerals as
it can vitamins when given proper nutrition so this is
very important... If you haven't read
The ABC's
Of Minerals I suggest you do so to better
understand their importance. When minerals are
unbalanced for very long the body will go awry at some
point in life.
That is only the beginning of building your immune
system, which is the only way to prevent cancers of all
types. Neither people or conventional medicine
recognize that cancer, when in the body, will show up
in the weakest part(s) of your body, which requires
keeping the whole body healthy so cancer cannot grow!
Even with balanced minerals it is imperative that you
stay away from; chemical/hormone interrupting household
and personal cleaning products, chemical containing skin
care products, heavily polluted air both outside and
inside, make sure you are bathing, drinking and cooking
with
filtered/purified water - read
Medicated Waterways - this article is 8 years old
yet the conditions of our water have gotten worse
according to the latest water testing done in 2009 - to understand this necessity.
If you do not get at least seven to nine 1 cup
servings of organic fresh or slightly steamed
fruits and vegetables daily- (a minimum of 7 cups daily
but 9 is better - then the next step is making sure
the largest part (70% to 80%) of your immune
system is strong and that requires a balance of
Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics along with
MegaNutrient Vitamins .
A host of studies released in the last few years have
determine the need for at least an intake of 7,500 IU of
Vitamin D
daily - D3 is the most potent and healthy. But
for those who never let the sun touch their skin or wear
sunscreen daily, a recommendation of 10,000 IU's daily.
Sun Screens deflect the suns ability for your body to make vitamin D
making most people totally deficient in the
most necessary Vitamin D and most multivitamins do not
contain anywhere near that amount bUT if they did and
you are mineral deficient the body is not able to
produce sufficient Vitamin D! If you get at least
30 minutes of sun a day on the whole or at least 95%
naked body and take a balanced minerals supplement then
extra vitamin D supplement can be skipped... If you are
post-menopause of perimenopause (35 to 50 years old)
you would want to take
D3,K2, betacarotene supplement not just D3.
Next step; a heavy
Antioxidant natural formula to control free-radical
cells and prevent them from splitting and becoming
toxic, which is when they can develop cancer.
If you sit at a desk several hours a day and/or
do not have a diet rich in fruits, vegetable and nuts
or are over 45 years of age then you would want to
take
Nattokinase Max daily to prevent clots and
strengthen your circulatory system. People who sit a lot
or are over the age of 45 have more strokes of the blood
clotting type than others who are younger, active and
move around hourly. Of course your diet will also have a
lot to do with keeping your circulatory system open,
blood pressure under control and a healthy heart.
A healthy circulatory system is imperative to clean
blood and cells!
Being a woman you need to make sure your
reproductive system and thyroid is functioning properly
as that will affect the rest of your organs;
Are you still having menses and if so are they
regular - 27 to 29 days apart - with normal regular flow
monthly? To check your thyroid

testing that has proven to be the most accurate test to
determine thyroid health. Blood thyroid testing is
incorrect at least 50% of the time therefore you can't
depend on them to tell you the status of your thyroid.
My daughter?s thyroid blood test were normal up to and
throughout her thyroid cancer natural treatment, which
should not have been? If either system is not
functioning properly both will need to be treated to
bring them into balance. This requires

Then comes a very important step to preventing not
only cancer but other illnesses and disease. This is a
step that most skip and put them at risk.
EXERCISE; Brisk walking for at least 30 to 45

grains. Stay away from dairy products -
butter, ice cream, milk, etc - as they are full of
hormones and chemicals that change the way your organs
function. If you must have dairy make sure it is
unpasteurized and from cows that are organically fed and
given no antibiotics, hormones or pesticide feed. If you
eat meat it should be chemical-free and no more
than two or three times a week. NO
PREPACKAGED OR PROCESSED FOODS as those are high in
hormone interrupting chemicals and have slim to no nutrient value therefore
weakening your body. All nutrition tests done on foods
of organic and regular farmed shows that organic foods
contain 40% to 90% more nutrients than grocery shelf
regular farmed foods. So eat as much organic as
possible.
As for a healthy liver. Stay away from polluting
cleaning products, chemical containing skin care products, heavily polluted
air inside and out - get an air filter for your car and
home, make sure you are bathing, drinking and cooking
with
filtered/purified water (read
Medicated Waterways to understand this need), do not
drink more than 4 to 6 alcoholic drinks a week, exercise
daily and get lots of sunshine on the naked body. If you
fail at least two of those steps then you should do a
liver cleanse at least every three or four months. That
requires a
7-day
Cleansing Detoxing diet and providing the supplement
nutrients that will keep your immune system healthy.
Total true organ health is tied to a healthy Immune
System. If you know you have a toxic liver then you
should do 2
Coffee Enemas the week you do the cleansing detoxing
diet as this speeds detoxing the liver and kidneys,
where toxins are trapped.

LOVE AND TIME
Writer Gary Jennings said this: "Love
and time, those are the only two things in all the world
and all of life, that cannot be bought, but only spent."
I love that. And HOW I spend my love and time is what it
is all about.
My work and interests require me to spend probably an
inordinate amount of time in front of my computer. At
least according to my wife Bev.
She and I were talking one day about death and funerals
and what to do with each other's remains. I asked. "What
will you do with my body? Burial? Cremation?"
She answered, "I think I'll just have you stuffed and
propped up in your chair by the computer. That way when
I walk through the room I won't even notice that you're
gone."
I got the point - too much computer time. And how I
spend my time and my love is all important.
The question I ask myself is this: "Do I generously and
freely give love and time away - and especially to those
closest to me?"
Charles Francis Adams was the United States ambassador
to Great Britain during the Lincoln administration. He
had the habit of keeping a daily diary. He also taught
his son Brooks the value of journaling his activities in
a diary.
One memorable day, eight-year-old Brooks recorded, "Went
fishing with my father, the most glorious day of my
life." It must have been a glorious day, for the next
forty years Brooks repeatedly mentioned it in his diary.
It became a life-long memory.
His father also wrote about the fishing trip. His own
diary on that pivotal day for his son reads, "Went
fishing with my son; a day wasted."
He didn't get it. That one single day he generously and
freely gave love and time away to Brooks may have been
the one of the most important days of his son's life.
Did he feel that, as a United States ambassador, his
time was too valuable to be "wasted" with his children?
History seems to show that a fishing trip with his son
paid huge dividends in Brooks' life.
I only hope I will spend love and time so well.
