Indole 3 Carbinol 13 Advanced Formula

The cabbage family has a host of phytochemicals that are now being recognized for their cancer-fighting capacities.  Here is the very supplement for those who can't or won't eat cruciferous vegetables daily for maximum protection!

Pregnant mothers protect the unborn child with those very same phytochemicals called indole-3-carbinol-13! A report published in the October, 2006 issue of the Journal Carcinogensis  described the finding of researchers at the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University in Corvallis, that pregnant mice given indole-3-carbinol (I3C), a compound found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower, deliver offspring that have a lower incidence of leukemia, lymphoma and lung cancer after being exposed to a common environmental pollutant known to increase the risk of childhood cancer.  Indole 3 Carbinol 13 Advanced formula provides the phytochemicals that give them that protection. "It's clear that in mice this supplement provided significant protection against lymphoma and, later on, lung cancer," Dr Williams added. "It's also worth noting that none of the infant mice received the protective supplement later in their life, at any stage beyond breast feeding. The protective effect of the compound came solely from maternal intake during pregnancy and nursing, but lasted into the animal's middle age. This is somewhat remarkable."

13-C as it is medically termed, is a plant compound found in broccoli, cabbage, mustard greens, kale and cauliflower. Studies show that people who eat a lot of these vegetables have the lowest risk of various types of cancer, including lung, stomach, colon and rectal, breast and prostate. Researchers at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Research Institute, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, St Johns University and Oregon State University report that when 13-C was added to breast cancer cells (both with and without estrogen receptors), 40% of cells underwent apoptosis or cell death. The researchers also investigated the compound’s ability to block estrogen and it did so by about 90%. As only about one-third of all breast cancers are estrogen receptor positive, and only about half of those respond to the estrogen blocker Tamoxifen, the use of Indole 3 Carbinol 13 is a exciting new therapy option or complementary therapy.

13-c WHEN TESTED HAS SHOWN TO STOP BREAST CANCER CELLS FROM MULTIPLYING THROUGH A UNIQUE, PARTLY UNKNOWN PATHWAY. Its effects against various types of beast cancer are so promising that the University of California Researchers state, “In the case of estrogen-non-responsive cells, Indole treatment (13-C) inhibited proliferation under conditions in which the anti-estrogen Tomoxifen had no effect, which suggests that a wider range of breast cancer cells responds to indoles than estrogen antagonists”. Their research adds to the growing evidence that 13-C may form the basis of a powerful new therapy for beast cancer treatment. Italian researchers recently created an artificial product from natural 13-C that has twice the strength in estrogen receptor negative breast cancer cells. It inhibits the same critical enzymes as 12-C but instead of activating the p21 tumor suppressor gene it activates another known as p27. The researchers intend to pursue the treatment created as a drug.
