Before listing the necessary additions to drugs I would like to say; If some corrective measures are not taken when taking prescription or over-the-counter medications the following statistics could be you. 

First you need to understand why corrective measures need to be taken!

The illnesses and diseases listed here are 99.9% preventable with some simple changes in lifestyle diet, sleep, exercise and proper supplementing... Here are the health statistic figures and cost listed in 2008, in order of most expensive to least expensive treatment costs and diagnosed!

Why medications make for ongoing illness not healing and what you need to do when taking any of the following medications!

  • DIURETICS for high blood pressure wash potassium, magnesium, sodium, zinc and vitamin B2 right out of your body along with the water. Even more alarming is the report From the National Cancer Institute in November 1998 states that, "diuretics also increase the risk of kidney cancer," as found by the researchers that conducted the studies.
  • CHOLESTEROL (STATIN) DRUGS, for lowering cholesterol, wash minerals and nutrients from the body. This leads to muscle and joint pains. If the body is missing large amounts of minerals it will affect muscles and joints, with the heart being the largest muscle in the body and will eventually become erratic and/or shut down creating death. If you read the insert that comes with those medications it will say; "This medication has not proven to prevent heart attack or strokes." What it should say it will cause them in a huge part of people taking them!
  • HRT - HORMONE/ESTROGEN REPLACEMENT DRUGS, such as Premarin, can leave you deficient in all the B complex, vitamin C, magnesium and zinc.
  • ANTACIDS - TUMS, ROLAIDS, ETC. INCLUDING NEXIUM AND PRILOSEC, etc. steal vitamins A and B1, folic acid, calcium, copper, iron and phosphorus from your tissues.
  • ANTIBIOTICS deplete numerous vitamins but mainly B2, C, D, niacin, folic acid, biotin…and a multitude of heart and brain killing minerals - calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc.
  • SHAMPOOS and CONDITIONERS have several chemicals building up your body to a toxic level threatening your liver and kidneys. A couple that has drawn attention lately is DEA and Sodium Laureth Sulfate, or simply SLS which are absorbed into your blood stream and make changes in our hormonal systems that cause free radicals to run wild and in turn cause cancer & other diseases.
  • CHLORINE in our municipal water systems - necessary to kill bacteria - has been proven to cause cancers of all kinds. A couple of studies shows that bathing in chlorinated water is worse than drinking chlorinated water, which is bad. Both forms of getting chlorine in your body, creating Free radicals that careen out of control throughout your body devouring our immune fighters.

This next one really bothers me. The fact is that doctors nonchalantly treat patients with ant-inflammatories every day of the year, probably one of the most prescribed treatments by far! I have this observation from my years of working in medical offices and that being that arthritic patients never got any better and always became worse. Yes they relieved their pains temporarily and momentarily all the while masking the damage and allowing the arthritis to progress as the years wore on. Since I have learned the following I now know why that continues to happen!

  • ANTI-INFLAMMATORIES such as Motrin, Ibuprofen and aspirin to name a few stop the production of good prostaglandin’s, which promote healing of the joints and cartilage. Causing further damage to your joints and muscles not healing them…
  • ASPIRIN, the most commonly used over the counter drug does a lot more damage than destroying the cartilage in the joints. One adult size aspirin causes the stomach to bleed a teaspoon of blood every time it is consumed and thins the tissues and wears away the stomach lining. Not good?

It's very true that products/foods may only contain a minute amount of something bad, therefore if you consumed it only once it probably wouldn't make a big difference. Sadly that isn't the case because so many things you consume has only a "little bit" but when it starts to add up your poor liver and immune system will cave under the weight of it ALL…

To offset damage and the ensuing illness that is sure to happen you must replace those washed out nutrients. Those medications not only depletes your body of necessary nutrients but the most damaging part is that  they kill and/or damage the area of your body that holds 80% of your immune system. Digestive/intestinal tract! To prevent more illness if you choose to take any or more than one of the above medications you MUST DAILY SUPPLEMENT a balanced minerals complex made from digestible ocean base along with an absorbable organic meganutrient vitamin and one more step covered later in this page is extremely important to your every day health. FD&C Yellow No.6; which is used in cereals, bakery goods, snack foods and other foods.

FD&C Blue No.1 Brilliant Blue; FCF Bright blue; Beverages, dairy  products powders, jellies, confections, condiments, icings, syrups, extracts 

FD&C Blue No.2 Indigotine Royal Blue; Baked goods, cereals, snack foods, ice cream, confections, cherries 

FD&C Green No.3 Fast Green FCF Sea Green; Beverages, puddings, ice cream, sherbet, cherries, confections, baked goods, dairy products 

FD&C Red No.40 Allura Red AC Orange-red; Gelatins, puddings, dairy products, confections, beverages, condiments 

FD&C Red No.3 Erythrosine Cherry-red; Cherries in fruit cocktail and in canned fruits for salads, confections, baked goods, dairy products, snack foods 

FD&C Yellow No.5 Tartrazine Lemon Yellow; Custards, beverages, ice cream, confections, preserves, cereals

What are those additives of many colors made of?

99% are synthetic, because they are cheaper and makes more money for the manufacturer.. Would you go to the gas station and buy oil to eat or drink? Not at all, but when you consume dyes you are eating and/or drinking petroleum (crude oil). That is exactly what the majority of dyes are made from! Our systems are not designed to consume crude oil in any manner. The other .09% is made from some funny little red cochineal bugs. That's right cochineal bugs (insects) in your food. If it's red it may be colored with bugs! And the other .01% of colors comes from vegetables. 

Oh by the way, when the FDA calls it vegetable dye that doesn't mean it's made of vegetables, but that it can be used on vegetables and other foods! Just a tiny little mislead there wouldn't you think?

Last but probably the most important step to good health!

As I told you about your largest immune system area. Your stomach and intestines make up 80% of your Immune System and when weak and malfunctioning opens you to all kinds of illness, disease and organ failure! If you don't know about that read "Your Body's Amazing Ecosystem Within."

One of many problems caused from taking antibiotics is a yeast infection. No fun, and can be dangerous to your health if left to run amok in the body. Another problem brought about from taking antibiotics is chronic diarrhea or chronic constipation either is the very sign that your immune system is deplete or very near deplete and must have the stomach and intestines full of the Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes to work properly. 

In addition to medications prescribed, food colors and food additives in your foods, chlorinated water put there to kill bacteria and keep you health you may be surprised that you are taking more than just your prescribed medication! All of those things upset the balance of your immune system's digestive ecosystem flora. Hormonal drugs, such as birth control pills and cortisone are especially detrimental to the body's ecosystem. Your body's immune system is so strong and fights so hard to stay healthy that you may not notice the imbalance for years but it will catch up to you eventually… 

One way of balancing out the body's ecosystem is with Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes, which improves liver and circulatory functions, improve resistance to allergies and decrease the presence of yeast infections. Probiotics are those foods and supplement that enhance and restore the helpful bacteria. Small amounts are found in foods like yogurt and fermented foods and a small amount in Acidophilus Milk. Not sufficient amounts to actually balance the system but will help.

You say, "but I'm not ill." No, you may not feel as if you are now but if you frequently catch colds, have fever blisters, vaginal or rectal itching, diarrhea either chronic or intermittent, constipation either chronic or intermittent, dry skin, allergies or a host of other small annoying symptoms you could very well be on your way to becoming more seriously ill and if you expect your doctor to detect before you become full blown ill! Don't panic but be careful with your health, when it's gone you have nothing left. Take care of your body and your body will take care of you for the long years ahead! Stick with organic fresh or fresh frozen foods when possible. Forget taking chemical medications and go for natural that God made for that reason and you can avoid most of the above health killing issues!
